Today is my Birthday

I had a big surprise. My girlfriend drove for an hour from her place to mine to surprise me on my birthday!!
It was wonderful to see her I don't get around much anymore and she works. It's been a couple years since we have seen each other. Like a good friend, you don't have to be physically present all the time to maintain a strong relationship. God bless this part of the internet.

I've been gone a long time...but I'm still around!!

I have been taking care of my stepmother (91) who is very healthy but cannot remember what you tell her past five minutes. I found out that I have Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. It means that I am out of breath most of the time and am very tired. But I have made a commitment to do more needlework now that summer is over.
